After graduating Frostburg State University, I moved to Baltimore City to pursue career opportunities with goal of landing at advertising agency. Just a small town girl navigating city life. My first job was with ABC Imaging: full-service print production company employed as Graphic Specialist. I was then recruited from a client for a position in the creative dept at Strategix Advertising: full-service agency (GOAL TACKLED!)
I always had a passion for event planning, and after a few years, had an opportunity to be a graphic designer/media specialist at an event production company. I was at this company for 15 years where I wore MANY hats: senior graphic designer, media buying and strategic planning, creative director, logistics and timeline manager, senior event manager… then hit the ground running with sponsorship and event sales. Exceeded goals and increased profits each year. A great perk was traveling for event production and internationally for trend research. Then… COVID and the company dissolved. I pivoted to wedding and event sales for catering company but wanted to get back to my roots in the ad agency. A recruiter informed me of the Business Development position at D&A and it was magic. A position outlining my work career wrapped up in a perfect bow. Here I am! : )
I enjoy country music, firepits with my hubby and two little kids, dirty martini’s with blue cheese olives and helping anywhere I can.
