Started in public accounting, spending approx 10 years with Arthur Andersen, working across a variety of industries, but spent significant time in their gov con practice. Left Andersen, and held VP-Finance or CFO role for a variety of companies, over this time helped take 2 companies public, have done significant number of M&A deals, and capital raising. Did turnaround at SPC Corporation (gov con, working in DOD, DOS, and intel space) and helped sell that business to ECS Federal in 2016. Co-founded springer lawson & associates with Tom Springer, did value creation/sell side advisory primarily in govcon and tech space. Merged with SchneiderDowns in 2023 and currently serve as Managing Director to SD Capital (sub to SchneiderDowns) - work value creation and sell/buy side advisory primarily in gov con space.
