Hello! My name is Alexandra Ragon, a Northern Virginia native with a competitive spirit honed on the soccer field, playing throughout my youth and into college, playing club at Virginia Commonwealth University. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BA in Marketing.Prior to joining Holden Insurance my expertise was consultative sales. In each of my roles I served as the center of gravity working closely with clients to scale and to grow.Most recently, I worked as the Director of Nonprofit Strategy at the nonprofit, Good360, building out and growing the footprint of their largest nonprofit partners across the country, such as Save the Children, Volunteers of America, Habitat for Humanity, CityServe, etc. In addition, I also worked within their Corporate Development & Strategy, working with several Fortune 500 companies the likes of Amazon, Bath & Body Works, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Ryder Truck: developing strategic relationships and creating business solutions to nationwide supply chain challenges, building out long-term programs for excess inventory issues, as well as enhancing ESG initiatives. Given my background, I am comfortable working with all different departments and levels of leadership, including C-Suite. My passions extend beyond the office—I love adventure, whether that is exploring new travel destinations, golf courses, or conquering hiking trails. Always down to try a new style of work out! As a cigar enthusiast, I cherish the downtime that comes with enjoying a nice cigar.

Our family-owned independent agency was founded in 1917 in Alexandria, Virginia, by Charles F. Holden. He launched Holden Insurance, Inc. with the goal of building a locally-owned business that served his community.
